During a recent routine inspection at DFDC The Hague, we identified an installation issue with Busbar A in Row 5 of Zone A (ZA.C5). As part of our ongoing program to audit and modernize older infrastructure, we will be performing corrective maintenance to ensure continued reliability and safety.
To complete this work, Feed A of Row 5 will be temporarily de-energized during a controlled maintenance window.
Customers with redundant power supplies connected to Feed B or Feed C are not expected to experience service disruption during this time.
The maintenance window is scheduled as follows:
Date: March 05, 2026
Time: 11:00–13:00 CET
Preparatory work that does not impact services will begin earlier that morning. The maintenance will be carried out by our certified electrical vendor together with our infrastructure team.
We appreciate your understanding as we continue investing in the resilience and quality of the DFDC facility. If you have any questions about your specific setup or redundancy, please contact our support team.
Zone A - Row 5 - Busbar A (ZA.C5.BB1)
Earlier this morning around 7:16 AM GMT+01:00, a utility power event failure occurred at the facility. During this event, the electrical load on ATS-A did not transfer to the generator as expected. As a result, the UPS batteries supplying ATS-A were depleted, causing a power outage on this path.
Our engineering team is actively investigating the root cause of the transfer failure on ATS-A and is working to restore full redundancy as quickly and safely as possible.
Current status:
- ATS-A: Impacted by power outage (under investigation)
- ATS-B: Operational
- ATS-C: Operational
Services connected to ATS-B and ATS-C remain available and unaffected. We are currently working on restoring power to customers behind ATS-A.
We will provide further updates as more information becomes available or once the issue has been resolved.
